The fastest growing Sports and Apparel Retail Company in South African is currently in need of a Store Manager based in Phalaborwa. As a Store Manager you will take full accountability for the total Operation of the store by managing through your staff. Qualifications required: A minimum of Matric and 2 to 4 years experience as a Retail Store Manager Skills required: Computer Literate Fully Bilingual in English & Afrikaans The ability to lead, plan, delegate, organize, control, follow up and motivate your team and take necessary corrective action if needed Develop your sales team to achieve individual targets and monthly store target Ensure exceptional high standard of customer service Excellent communication and people skills The ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations Confidence, drive and enthusiasm Decision-making ability and sense of responsibility Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Applying commercial skills to meet sales targets Meeting operational requirements by implementing and maintaining company merchandising standards Dealing with enquiries and complaints Oversee the safe handling of cash and banking Ensure the implementation of promotions timeously Managing deliveries from suppliers by ensuring that all stock is unpacked timeously and on the sales floor Plan and execute stock takes Combat stock losses by implementing a stock loss action plan (SLA) Salary: R6000- R6500 CTC Do not apply if you are not willing to work Retail Hours Attach cv with a recent photograph on to Gumtree advert or send cv to cvs(@)geminirecruitment(dot)co(dot)za – remove brackets when sending email and in the subject line of your email put PHALABORWA.
