The festival mood of Tiruvannamalai has swept Project 365 Team as well. Since our return from MUKHAMUKHAM - Bangalore, we have been kept busy with the visually exciting nights and days of DEEPAM. Almost fifteen lakh people take part in this ancient cultural festival and all around the Arunachala Hill, we can see many a changes, new faces and interesting array of shops. Many from the nearby village set-up their stalls around the Arunachala Hill, the temples are renovated, temporary constructions are made for gods and people alike... the sadhus also get geared up and organise songs and bhajans to be sung during the Deepam. Roads are newly made, police line-up in every corner of the town, every body seems busy and excited at the same time... Yes, Project 365 photographers are also part of this festival now..., and as we wait for Project 365 leading photographer Dinesh Khanna to arrive, who would be joining us this sunday, Photographer / Project 365 Director Abul Kalam Azad and the team has been running around day and night capturing visuals this spectacular light festival...
