The fight against terror and standing up for all the people inflicting pain and receiving them in war torn areas around the world, begin not by sending troops and the red cross or sending food supplies and attending to the victims.. yes all this is necessary to contain and relieve the pain, The real turn around will take place when we turn to our own families and communities, to our partners and to our kids and stop withholding love in the name of religion and societal norms or ego or anything else. You see life is subtle. and everything starts in subtle ways like a seed to a tree and every thing is connected. The solution to our fight to all evils in this world starts with the way we treat one another. Can I make a difference in Syria and Iraq if I love my kid the way he should be loved? Yes I can. The power of our subtle actions towards those in our lives to our honest commitment to ourselves, our work, our families, and the way we commit on our betterment, I believe has a larger impact on the world beyond our families and communities... beyond all borders. So let not have very fancy ideas about changing the world. Just start where one is - ( This is a a note to self)
