The filing of conspiracy, bribery and other charges (indictments by grand jury) against two black Democrat state lawmakers from Philadelphia made for another sad day for Pennsylvanians and another bad day for the AG, Kathleen Kane, who either misrepresented, if not lied about, her racism-and-entrapment rationale for not prosecuting those lawmakers. The fact that the defendants are black fueled racism concerns that Kane claimed were supported by an affidavit from an Attorney Generals Office agent stating hed been told to focus only on the Legislative Black Caucus. But the two-thirds-black grand jury said she never turned over that document or others despite subpoenas and didnt examine internal documents or interview agents involved with the sting.
