The financial and monetary losses is dwarfed by the trauma that this Guyanese family has had to endure. Anyone who has had a similar experience can relate to the depth of terror that will remain with this family for life. The Guyana Government with regard to the Peoples Progressive Party continues to act as the victim here and interestingly extrapolates a political benefit suggesting that the government of the day can do nothing. My heart goes out to this innocent Guyanese family and no one deserves to experience this level of anguish.
