The first EP was successfully funded by all of you who pledged on Kickstarter/Indiegogo. I dont write music for television, video games or movies but they do seem to find their way on there quite often which makes me happy as my biggest inspirations are usually movies like Blade Runner, Dawn of the Dead, 2001, No Country for Old Men. Also a lot of my favorite bands like NIN or Fever Ray also find their music used in much the same way which I think is cool. In the coming weeks there will be a lot of news about placements for the songs on the first EP The End Is Only the Beginning the first placement was Black Sun which found its way to the season finale trailer for Criminal Minds here youtu.be/KKjok_udMUo We are getting close to completing the CD version of The End Is Only the Beginning and I decided to make the artwork simple, it really showcases all of you that pledged and became a part of this album through crowdfunding. The cover will be the same as the digital version, the back will be the new official icon for WVM, the inside (Liner notes) will be credits to Josh Freese and Chris Vrenna, as the only 2 other musicians on this album (they both played drums on various tracks) and of course to Sean Beavan for a great job mixing it and Tom Baker for mastering it. But the majority of the inside will contain the names of each and every one of you that pledged so when you receive the CD and open it you will find your name very easily. There are over 100 of you that qualified to have your name in there and I want to thank you all for your belief in my music. I will post a pic of the liner notes next week, the CD version begins production very soon its a 5 song EP but I think you will agree feels like a full length... All of you that pledged for it will receive your packages very soon... Thank you.
