The first pavilion of the Crazy Well in background, the bottling plant in the foreground and the original well to the right. 1923 is the number used by the postcard publisher and does not reflect the year the photograph was taken. The photograph would have been taken after 1900 and before 1909. Earlier a white picket fence surrounded the front yard, the bottling plant had not been built and the second floor of the pavilion was open air. In early Mineral Wells businesses were always improving, tearing down to rebuilt bigger or better or both.
