The first set of experimental official statistics on Personal - TopicsExpress

The first set of experimental official statistics on Personal Independence Payment (PIP) across Great Britain have been published by the Department for Work and Pensions. This documents states that, between 8 April 2013 and 28 March 2014, 349,000 new claims had been registered for PIP, but that only 83,900 decisions had been made. This reflects what many people with M.E. are telling us: that PIP assessments are taking much longer to process than expected. Have you undergone a medical for PIP? Let us know about your experience in the comments below and help us build a fuller picture of the assessment process.
