The first step in solving any problem is identifying it. We as a country have come a long way, further than most if not all, but we truly have a long way to go. I have always believed prejudice is not a black or white problem its a dominant group non-dominant problem and it happens all the time to all of us, unfortunately to some more than others. If you find yourself in a dominant group be aware, be cognizant of the non dominant group and their needs and feelings, it goes a long way. The hardest person that you will ever have to get to change their mind is yourself.
