The first time I saw Rosss paintings was over fifty years ago on the walls of Carolyns pizzeria in Libertyville. I bought this one of an old North Shore trolley car for my dad for Fathers Day. Ross and Gary Saxvik were the funniest and best MCs for our Junior Womans Club Variety Shows. When I worked at LHS, I remember the laughter coming from the mens faculty lounge. Yes, Ross was telling one of his infamous jokes! He loved his job and his students loved him. The art work of his students was outstanding and award winning. They were so fortunate to have him as a teacher. It is because of Ross that I took up painting watercolors. I would have given anything to be in one of his classes. His paintings, in our home, are a constant reminder of how fortunate we were to have Ross touch our lives. God bless Ross, Lois, his girls and their families. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
