The following are the Court Room scenes that I watched. But before detailing those I must put a STATUTORY WARNING that the similarity if found with real ones, is your imagination only. The Court appeared similar to ‘Khap Panchayat’ Scene-I Venue:-Khap Panchayat. The Chief in chair. Plaintiff is a girl ( X ) proved to be raped by Y. Both are present. X:: “I want death of Y by hanging”. The Chief :: “Y is termed for life and X after being tested of her age be awarded Rs.20/30 thousand as promised by the authority as compensation”. Scene-II Venue:-Appeal Court of Khap Panchayat of A, B, C, to hear submission of Y. Chair of C is vacant. A (disgustingly asked B):: “Where is C ? Work culture of this place is hell. No work culture”. C (enters hurriedly):: Sorry for late. Some people including my driver was shouting, “ Go away from here”. B :: “O.K. Let’s start”. Y :: “Sirs, X is already compensated by the authority for her sufferings and since she is paid from ‘authority Fund’ what also belongs to me proportionately then my punishment will be duplicate one.” A :: “Will you marry her” ? Y :: “Yes”. C :: Y shall marry X and Y is acquitted. Scene-III Venue:-Kalokutta Club. B to A :: Sir, we did not address the Core issue. The girl after marrying by Y was raped by Y’s friends also and the girl committed suicide. A to B ::Who pays your bills ? Don’t you think that by letting Y marry we saved lots of money of the authority? And also did we not remove social stigma from the girl ? Mobile of C rings. C to A&B :: It is Minister, sir! The ringing was so loud that my I fell from bed and naturally broke my sleep.
