I am Elliot Rodger ... Magnificent, glorious, supreme, eminent ... Divine! I am the closest thing there is to a living god,’ the 22-year-old college student, son of a Hunger Games assistant director, boasted. “Humanity is a disgusting, depraved and evil species. It is my purpose to punish them all. On the day of Retribution, I will truly be a powerful god, punishing everyone I deem to be impure. Really now! Doesnt this sound familiar? Like something you may have heard in Sunday School or church growing up? So why are we criticized when we point out that the god of so much of Christendom is just as deranged and pathetic?
