The following information was reported to the Marceline Police Department for the period of September 08, 2014 through September 14, 2014 09/08- Officers responded to the 600 block of East Wells in reference to a disturbance. Subjects were gone prior to officer’s arrival. 09/08- Officer’s responded to the 1600 block of North Missouri in reference to a possible harassment. The matter is under investigation. 09/09- Officer’s investigated a report of a C & I driver in the 500 block of West Broadway. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle. 09/12- Officer’s investigated a report of a traffic crash in the 100 block of North Missouri. 09/13- Officer’s received a report of a burglary in the 200 block of East Lake. The matter is still under investigation. 09/14- Officer’s received in report of a disturbance in the 500 block of North Kansas. It was determined to be a problem with a dog. 09/14- Officer’s responded to the 500 block of East Hauser in reference to a possible harassment. The matter is still under investigation. Officers conducted 181 security checks The following arrests were reported by the Marceline Police Department for the period of September 08, 2014 through September 14, 2014. All subjects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. 09/09- Michael Benedict, 32, of Marceline on a charge of Driving While Suspended, Fail to stop at a stop sign, and an active warrant. The following summons were reported issued by the Marceline Police Department for the period of September 08, 2014 through September 14, 2014 09/09- Michael Benedict, 32, of Marceline summons for Driving While Suspended and Fail to Stop at sign. 09/12- Jenny Hand, 20, of Marceline a summons for failing to yield right of way. 09/13- John Huffman, 64, of Brunswick a summons for failing to drive the right way on a one way street.
