The following is my request to ESPN, FOXSports, and SI and every other baseball analyst outside of STL: Please, dont pick the Cardinals to win anything...please predict theyll get humiliated, swept, and out quickly. Please wear Dodger blue for the NLDS series and the colors of the opposing team at any other level the Cardinals might make it to. Please overlook their pitching and hitting, fielding, and managing...please make sure that every team in the playoffs is more deserving to be there by your calculations...heck...point out how half a a dozen teams are more deserving than the Cards. If by chance they win, please be sure to say it was the other team that beat themselves. Cheer against them!!! PLEASE!! Why? I Love consistency! Because every time you know it alls pick them they end up losing. Well...that is just about true across the board. Sports analyst are to games what weathermen are to the weather...more wrong than right on their predictions and barely able to make the call when its underway.
