The following just happened: The two-day commercial shoot Ive been working on just wrapped and I saw that pics from last months Hoodslam were posted on the official Hoodslam Facebook page. I saw a spectacular pic with Virgil in mid-air, backflipping high above Matt Carlos, who wrestles as Ryu from Street Fighter. I showed this to one of the production assistants in an effort to get her to tomorrow nights Hoodslam - Dual Intentions at the Oakland Metro Operahouse. I brought up the pic on my phone and said, This is one of the coolest shots from last months Hoodslam. No sooner did the word Hoodslam escape my lips than one of the other PAs blurted out, YOU GO TO HOODSLAM?!? Go to it, I replied. Im the COMMENTATOR at Hoodslam! Broseph Joe Brody, bro! The dude flipped a shit, doubled over with giddy laughter, asked to take a picture with me, and is, at this very moment, gathering a small army of his friends to come to tomorrow nights show. And ya know what? You should come, too. #ThisIsReal
