BOX 3356 WEST COLUMBIA, SOUTH CAROLINA 29171 (803) 739-2774 wreathsacrossamerica.org We really need your help getting the word out about the Wreaths Across America Ceremony at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery at noon on Saturday, December 14, 2013. Please send this to everyone on your email contacts and tell anyone who will listen..... I have attached a sponsorship form that has detailed information on the back concerning the ceremony. We are way behind in our wreath sponsorship count this year. With 33 days left in the campaign, we still need almost 900 wreaths of the 2500 to meet our promise of a wreath for every grave site The State House Ceremony at noon on Monday, 12/09/13 at the SC Veterans Memorial on the State House grounds. I am sending out Press Releases for both events later today to all media in hopes they will help in getting the word out as well. We will have over 300 people participating in the program, including High School JrROTC units, Civil Air Patrol and Sea Scout units, Boy and Girl Scouts, as well as Veteran and Civic organizations from across the Midlands. All five branches of our Military as well as the Merchant Marines and our POW/MIAs will be represented by Active and Retired/prior service veterans. Brig.Gen. Bradley Becker will give our opening address. We had over 3000 people in attendance last year are are expecting over 5000 this year. As State Representative for Wreaths Across America, I also want people to know that there are 12 other National, State and County Veterans cemeterys participating and having ceremonies simultaneously across the state as well as at over 800 other locations around the US and the world on December 14, 2013.
