The gift of music, Song 9 of 15. In the 70s, Bob Dylan made an offhand interview comment that Ry Cooder was his favorite guitarist. I hadnt heard of Ry, but soon owned an album of his, Bop Til You Drop. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate that record a 6 or so--nice, but forgettable. However, the final song was killer. I have owned that song in LP, cassette, CD and now digital download form ever since, and listen to it at least a few times every year. One of my top 100 songs, lifetime.
