The glass has arrived and after almost two years in barrel, our 2012 Vintages will be ready for bottling! We are excited to say these wines are anticipated to be our best ever. Brian and Scott spent 35-40+ hours at various times throughout the time in barrel blending, tasting, perfecting, and they think theyve nailed it. The most difficult part of bottling wine is actually the time spent before hand, Scott tells us. (Hmmm, tasting all that wine over and over again... well take his word for it). Bottling is scheduled around a few things. One: when the wine is ready, and two: when Scotts schedule will allow him to coordinate it all. Friends and family will join in as we begin bottling between 10-11 p.m. on a semi-automatic line. The night temperatures provide for a more stable environment. Sparge, fill, cork, foil, label, box, repeat...about 6,600 times. Hopefully well be done by sunrise.
