The good news is, the NaNo book is cookin with gas. Best effort ever, for a NaNo. That said, the research and writing last night deeply affected my dream world. I dreamed about Clint, our oldest. We havent seen or heard from him since March, 2003 (phone call). The dream, at least feeling-wise, was a good one. I felt happy, relaxed and confused. On some level I knew I wasnt really interacting with Clint. That said, I wanted to stay in the dream for as long as I could. I wanted to see him, watch him go about his work - I think we were doing some hauling in pickup trucks. It just felt so...normal. I woke up, sat on the edge of the bed and smiled. But the dream started to slip away, it was like trying to grab and hold onto fog. I knew if I could pick out something solid from the dream I could store it in memory and recall it later. But, its gone. What I do have is the feeling of love and normalcy that used to be there. Thatll have to do. And it will.
