The great story to come out of Migori yesterday was the way a strong President handled the heckling of our youth. As I watched him declare that he will come back to engage folks in the Nyanza region again and again, it was clear to me that the train of healing in our land has left the station. There undoubtedly will be incidents like the one we witnessed yesterday as this train rides along, but who said anything good ever came easy? Throughout this land, tomorrow belongs to leaders and Kenyans whose only motivation is to heal this nation. By the time we are done transforming this land with the the power of good over evil, the grace of God over the divisive machinations of Satan, there will be no stone left in the hand of any youth to throw. If the first year of this Presidency was a time to adjust, it is now evident that the early teething problems have been overcome. As Kenyans, we must now roll up our sleeves and do whatever we can to create space for development, unity and a sense of togetherness to emerge. That is the kind of vision that you wont find spelt out even in the Vision 2030 thing...it is the vision from above! I look forward to His Excellencys visit to Kisumu, Siaya and other regions across this nation as he carries the banner of healing to every corner of the land. I love thee Kenya!
