The gross non-performing assets (NPAs) of 40 listed Indian banks - TopicsExpress

The gross non-performing assets (NPAs) of 40 listed Indian banks grew to Rs.2.43 trillion at the end of December 2013— a rise of about 36% from last year. According to rating agency Icra Ltd, this is going to increase further by the end of the March quarter due to a slowdown in business and the slow pace of economic recovery. Though the share of bad home loans is tiny, weak economic growth may add to the list of such properties that are available for auction. livemint/Money/FlQdSHUxKUHo99a5rPSHxJ/Distressed-property-not-worth-the-effort.html
