The grouse popped out of the brush and fled down the trail. After a good laugh we carried on and ended up going past our turn around point which now meant our run was going to be 4.5 hrs. Later that day we did see a bear (from our car driving out of the park), some Elk, a deer, a school build over a road, and finally a lovely rainbow after having dinner at our favorite pub, the Longhorn in Edison. Fresh oysters, local prime sirloin and organic greens.
