The gym at Prince George’s County Police headquarters is packed with toys. The PGPD is once again proudly partnering with the United States Marine Corps Reserves to host the Toys for Tots program in Prince George’s County. Each Christmas season, the program collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them to families in need. Last year, our community’s generosity helped us distribute more than 50,000 toys to more than 18,000 county children. Donations are still being accepted for this year’s toy drive and can be dropped off at police headquarters. The thousands of toys already collected will be distributed this Sunday. Unfortunately, the deadline to sign up to receive toys this year has passed. If you are interested in signing up for next year, please visit toysfortots.org.
