“The harvest is past, The summer is ended, And we are not saved!” (Jeremiah 8:20) Life is cyclical and seasonal. Every season has its unique characteristics and the appropriate activity that takes place in it. Certain agricultural activities thrive in particular seasons and the farmer knows and depends on the timings of the seasons to be productive. The ant saves extra food in the summer and survives on it throughout the long winter months. When a people disobey God and forsake His ways, their seasons pass them by and their expectations are disappointed. Desperation and frustration then set in as they look back at missed opportunities. May that not be your testimony. May you be productive at your set time. You shall bring forth fruit in your season. Your leaves shall not wither prematurely. You shall be fresh and flourishing. Your expectation shall not be cut off. As you walk with The Lord in the light of His word, His glory shall be shed on your way. Youre blessed indeed!
