A whole 24 hour peace - Can you keep em Scotland, please . The privilege of democracy is that we can vote people out as well as in, and it looks like that is what some Scots seem to be planning. With the three main political parties all as unpopular as each other I dont blame them for the sentiment. However we criticise politicians for prioritising their short careers at the expense of the long term problems they face. The vote is about a very long term issue. I hope that those Scots who see this as a quick solution to the clowns, will not try to solve an immediate problem at the expense of much greater ones in the future. To amputate a broken Westminster rather than fix it will affect how all of us in these Isles will deal with issues that will potentially affect the world for a very long time. And I hope that the clowns will get the message.
