The holidays always bring about fun memories of playing with toys as children and these unique tin toys may spark a memory or two for you! On loan to the Gilmore Car Museum, this collection of nearly 200 of the rarest post World War II tin toy cars were produced by by companies such Marusan and Bandai of Japan, Schuco and Märklin of Germany, among many others. If you are visiting the Museum this holiday season, be sure to check out a sampling of the “Tin Toy Cars of Yesteryear – From Realistic to Whimsical,” currently on display near the Research Library in the Gilmore Automotive Heritage Center.
