The hounds will meet Sunday, October 12th at 10am at Montana Horses/Mantle Ranch. Stirrup cup is at 9:45am, in the stirrups. See Hunt Secretary JR Tonjum or Liz Gibson to introduce guests prior to 9:30am. There will be two fields, led by Kyle Cram and Donna Baeth. Hunt breakfast will follow, served by Laura Knapp, Olivia Eggleston, and Lori Dooley. BYOBevs (Staff members Kail, Marie, and Catherine will not be in attendance.) This will be the final hunt until Wednesday, the 22nd and then Wednesday the 29th. We will not be hunting on the 26th because it is opening rifle season weekend and we should avoid the large number of deer and elk hunters and guns likely to be out. The hounds and horses leave for Reno, NV for the Pacific District Joint Meet held at Red Rock Hounds Tuesday the 14th through the 20th. We have room on our trailer for extra horses if you decide you can’t live without one of their made hunt horses for sale (redrockhounds). Hats off to PJ and Christa Penor, who tonight showed that their talents after Jodie ran off following a hound walk. They spent two hours out, but brought her back home safe. Good job, girls!
