The hypocrisy is staggering. In fact, as one pundit put it, this week was an Elizabeth Warren festival of hypocrisy. The political terrorist Republicans, the Republican anarchists that voted against the 2013 spending bill, were long forgotten in 2014 as Elizabeth Warren flip flopped to say it was now time to stand up and fight to vote against this weeks spending bill, effectively shutting down the government. Ironically, her apologists will argue that she did not shut the government down--but thats even more embarassing because the reason is that Warren is not only a hypocrite but a terrible politician, obviously unable to rally her comrades to support her side. She called for the vote and lost, as few on her side were willing to stand alongside such an embarassing reversal of position.
