I almost went with Wires The 15th but in the end it had to come down to the Modfather and all around top-geezer of both the young and now the aged me. Now having settled on Paul Weller, which gem to select? Had to be solo of course, because The Jam doesnt begin with W - in the end I went for his second solo single - the absolutely sublime and groove-tastic Above the Clouds from 1992.
