The idea of teaching Zumba at the schools started few years ago. The goal was to raised money to help teachers, students and school programs. Zumberas rocked Alvarado Elementary School, Conley High and Cesar Chavez Middle School. I could not have done this with out the help of the principals, Zumba instructors (Michelle aka Gringita, Bonnie, Alma), Amigas, Raquel, Anne, Meli, and many more (working behind the scenes), my DJ John and Zumberas. We did many fundraisers and they were a success! All of you had something to do with this because you supported me through this journey! Now a new chapter is going to be written. Zumba with Mimi will have a new home, space to teach my classes. Im renting a space in Fremont in the Niles district. Classes will remain the same schedule Monday and Wednesdays at 6:30 pm and Saturday will be at 8:00 am. My last day at Cesar Chavez will be Saturday April 12th and my new classes will start Monday April 14th. I hope that you will continue to support me and be part of this.
