The initial Llandudno Coastal Forum comes to an end during January after which the public will be consulted about the ideas that have been put forward. The fact that ROB have been working with the forum does not mean the anger and dismay about what has happened to our beautiful beaches has gone away. It just means that we have taken the opportunity to work with CCBC and representatives of the town to put ideas forward to get the best beach we can, given what has happened over the past number of years. Instead of shouting and moaning we have tried to be constructive. We kept from criticising and worked with CCBC in the hope that we can achieve our goal and to make sure that this was not just an exercise in pacifying us and others who were outraged throughout the town and beyond. We saw no reason to keep reminding you of the state of the north shore as it is blindingly obvious as to the destruction that has been caused. We have been very much at the forefront in putting ideas forward that will make up part of the feasibility study next year and look forward to presenting to the town the ideas that the forum have agreed should be investigated, as part of that study.
