The international community, in particular the #UN and some of its organs, is failing to hold the government of #Burma/#Myanmar accountable for its treatment of the #Rohingya, including denying the right of Rohingyas to self-identify on the census conducted earlier this year, in contravention of international law. The continued persecution of the Rohingya demonstrates that the government of Burma/Myanmar is utterly failing in its Responsibility to Protect all populations, regardless of ethnicity or citizenship.
