The interview of Paul Flower, Co Op Bank ex boss and church leader and minister, if not been edited did not show that he was sincerely repentant for what he has done. He even made an emphasis that all human beings were as weak and sinful and opened to all temptations. It would just be a matter of being disclosed to the public or not. He has the theology but not the Life of Christ. Well the interview was not a theology sermon and ALSO no excuse for sinning. God did not die so that people could carry on sinning but to live a prosperous life in His glory. In Christ there would be hope and strength to stop sinning in His grace if one truly desires to be close to God. The Bible has made it clear and serious about those who have accepted salvation of the Cross (lightly) and sinned again would be like nailing Christ on the Cross again. His answer showed that he was not truly regenerated in the blood of Christ. Attitude. Hope one day he could truly realize and reconcile with God in His grace.
