The issue of Gen.Buharis certificate is getting more troubling as election day approaches with evidences The peoples general may not have the necessary academic credential required for the top job . Initially i didnt give much credence to the allegation , how could anyone have risen to the post of a Major Gen. in the Nigerian army and become head of state without WASC i opined. However, the latest revelation from Nigerian army that it is not in possession of Gen. Buharis certificate is beginning to make the Generals squeaky clean image look like a fairy tale, particularly when one considers the fact that the Gen. may have lied in previous attempts when validation of credential was not required. Gen. Buhari had initially referred the public to Nigerian army for his certificate. At this point, every clear conscience and peace loving Nigerian has the responsibility to call on Gen. Buhari to clear the air on the issue of his academic qualification and safe the nation unnecessary turmoil that may follow the presidential election if his victory is invalidated on the ground that he did not have the required credentials . #WeDontHaveToRelive2011Again
