The lack of transparency, the lack of direct feedback to the student, and the overall policies that districts cant show you(student/parent) how this artificial intelligence tool compares answers to performance indicators it a HUGE RED FLAG.... if they can not share this information, they can not test my minor children for the benefit of the $! Our SI has been very clear in his letter to parents that he will continue to program our children equally and that he will not be asking teachers to modify planning, curriculum or execution outside NYS Assessments. I have told him again and again that we have constitutional rights to decline and that my children will have to be assessed or graded on teacher developed course work and tests. I could care less if it leaves a doubt to funding or services as I am very active in what my kids bring home and feel more than confident I can meet their needs or find someone who can. The failures of the district to comprehend our rights will follow us in battles for the next 9 years so he will get tired of seeing and hearing from me but I will not stop!
