The lake is still, the birds are singing, and once again its GRATITUDE FRIDAY! I wake up every morning with gratitude for a loving God and its important for me to be grateful every day for the life I have today . Im so grateful for love and I am filled with love today. I am blessed with two sons and my feelings for them are indescribable. I truly believe I would take a bullet or step in front of a train for them. There is no comparable love to the love I have for them. The Lord has placed a woman in my life and I am so grateful to have her to share my ups and downs and to be able to listen to hers. Im also grateful for the understanding that like gratitude, love requires action and that though Ive failed miserably at times, I can continue to improve at this and I thank God for her patience with me. Im grateful that my love for my children and my partner has matured and grown deeper and that even when apart, my heart can feel my love for them. Im grateful to God for blessing me with parents who always loved me even when I disappointed them or let them down. I love them though theyve both passed and I love them for the solid foundation they provided That allows me to strive to do Gods will today. My eight siblings now range from 58 to 70 and I appreciate and love each and every one of them. The greatest feeling is knowing how much they love me. Today, Im grateful for friends I love, some new ones, some life long! I feel their love and I love them. As my universal love for my fellow man grows, any hate or anger within me seems to disappear and seems so irrelevant. The Beatles sang All you need is love and there is truth in those words. I encourage everyone who reads this today to call someone, go see someone, go look up an old friend - whatever - and tell them you love them! Heres wishing everyone a wonderful, safe, blessed, and loving weekend! Terry
