The lamido of Adamawa.Dr Aliyu .Barkindos impulsive outburst at the on going Confab that he and his people from Adamawa are willing to join cameroun if pushed too far(by who?) was as unfortunate as it was reckless,.it is particularly so when one situates the Emirs unfortunate narrative within the respected office of a royal father which he occupies...Surely an elder like him should not be making statements that will promote ethnic and religous cleavages... it is important at this point to say that the emirs position is way out of step with that of many indigenes of Adamawa state. I have lots of friends from that state,and the last time I checked they were more than happy to be Nigerians....I therefore think the Emir was speaking for himself and his family members.. .....
