The last 24 hrs have been amazing. I was able to see my brother Scott and Barb, my niece Melissa, and my baby girls Kimberly Lynn and Jennifer Leigh. I slept on the couch with Zoe, and woke to her sweet face. So many times Zoe would come over to me, put her tiny hands on both sides of my face and just look at me, then throw her arms around my neck and give me the tightest hug. I was surprised with seeing my Mom Evelyn Kolbe and Ed for lunch at Cracker Barrel (I cried). There were so many moments that filled my heart to bursting. I knew as each one was happening that I never want to forget those moments..... to never take for granted the strength in a hug, the softness in a smile, the joy in shared laughter and the biting sadness of leaving loved ones behind until the next time. Thank you to all who helped in getting Jen packed up... off to Florida tomorrow morning.
