The last 8 months seem like we have been living in a haze!! I am so blessed to have the amazing friends and family that I have! I am reminded again just how fragile life is and how we never know what tomorrow will hold!! Mom and Dad were held in the arms of a loving God that protected them from death as they hung upside down in a vehicle for 12 hours not knowing if anyone would ever find them! We are more than blessed to be able to hol dtheir hands and to hear their voices, no matter how bleak the situation seems!! Mom is actually holding her own and we have been told that she will probably be moved to an inpatient rehab center sometime at the beginning of next week. Dad is having some major issues right now and we really still have no conclusive diagnosis. They think that he had a stroke while they were trapped and he is now paralyzed on his right side. He has no feeling at all, no pain or anything. I am sure that could be a blessing in dusguise because ribs 2-9 on his right side are broken and 2 ribs on his left side are broken, he has severe burns to his right arm and some other minor fractures. The next 24-48 hours are critical for him and we have been advised that he will either start to get better or he will not! I know that there is someone else much bigger and much stronger than I am in control now and I will cling to the hope that I will once again hear my daddys voice!!
