The last Ohio Village Muffins game was today. I didnt make many matches this year (with graduation stuff, all of the kids sports and stuff, and just lifes crazy schedules) - but I am still so amazed at the schedule the team keeps. It is a wonderful family and its been another great year of base ball. We received an email a bit ago from our coordinator...heres some pretty awesome stats: The season started Saturday, April 5 with the first of what would be 4 club matches during the season, and ended today against the Red Stockings – the 16th different organized vintage club played this season. The Muffins played 49 matches this year on 37 different dates. This includes 8 double-headers and 4 matches played at the Ohio Cup. We travelled to two other states (Indiana and West Virginia), played at 12 festivals, and played once again on the Statehouse lawn. All of this with only 1 rain-out. Thank you to all associated with this great team! We love being a Muffin family!! (here are some pics of LAST year -- one of our favorite trips!)
