The last couple of weeks I have been going through some battles and felt like giving up on the assignment that God called me to twelve years ago- womens ministry. I felt so many different feelings of unacceptance, loneliness, aggravated, anger, bitterness, confusion, depression, anxiety, laziness, disappointment and the list goes on. But what I realized this last weekend is all those things I was feeling, was just that... feelings and they were not from God. God doesnt call us to live by our feelings. He calls us to surrender all for Him- When we are born again in Christ we are made new. The devil tries his hardest to make you feel worthless in hopes that you will give up everything. He tries to pit people against people and creates doubt deep within to make you cower and fear. Well Im not living that way- I was created for more than that. When this life is over I will stand before God, alone, just me and Him and I will have to give account to my life. So I will do my best to follow God while Im on this earth and love Him with my whole heart, mind, soul and strength first then love others the way He wants me to. The enemy has tried to take me down with blow after blow and when I persevere he tries again- well he can be gone in Jesus name. I belong to God and I listen to God and I will serve God.
