The last good GOP president in so many respects, is IKE!. He only failed in one area and that was his selection of his VEEP, Richard Tricky Dick Nixon, nicknamed as per the politics he played. And, now it has become the bad habit for every vice presidential choice of all the GOP presidential contenders to be made for merely politically expedient calculations; and the results have caused a sick selection process, evidenced in the whole lot of them since IKE. Agnew, running mate with Nixon, had to resign for criminal corruption. The real and only trickle down from Reagan was the Bushes, and now you have to add Cheney, Palin and Paul Ryan as the last three VEEP nominees. Paul Ryan is a self confessed Ayn Rand worship of money avowed worshipper of the top 1%, the John Galts of Rand fiction. Paul Ryan, as Chairman of Budget for the Tea Party GOP Congress, promotes creeping selfishness for corporations and the wealthy 1% to be the takers of whats remaining of the middle class.
