The legacy of this store being in business for 42 years is a single mom raising two daughters. Her tenacity and perseverance to stay in competition with the big guys while raising her daughters and being an example to every employee who has worked within these walls has proven what hard work can do. Was it always easy? no; has it been worth - most likely, but youll have to ask her. ;) Mom & Pops strive to survive in this big company, online shopping world we now exist in. What do people come looking for? A caring, friendly, knowledgeable staff. How are they that way? Because of a boss who cares not just about the product she is selling but about the customer and making a difference in her employees. Today the owner of Family Pet has off - celebrating her birthday with her grandchildren! (somebody needs to mind the store!) We are excited to celebrate every one of her birthdays! Stop in this week and wish her a Happy Birthday or leave a message. This is one employee who is happy to celebrate a wonderful woman (and mom)!
