The lineup to be endorsed by acclamation in the next Kasarani fast shaping up… that’s how party line-ups are formed….by consensus…am not an ODM supporter, but what I can say is that Raila is on script…that’s exactly what I have been thinking, and ODM should have done that (merge Zani and Ababu teams) before Kasarani… and come up with a list to be endorsed by acclamation…secret ballot was going to exterminate the Raila party, ODM would have received mass defections…..Raila has demonstrated that he is a master tactician….. He now has a team of rivals like that of Abraham Lincoln….so he will be a Chairman Mao….ODM is now like a coalition party in itself..and if it can hold, it can be very strong…. and by the time that election was disrupted, the election was over, we knew who the delegates wanted… its obvious who won by acclamation…..but a crisis and confusion was necessary, so that out of the chaos, a puzzle that only Raila can piece together is created…..that’s cool power play, I love it. Good power players create a crisis and then resolve that crisis. I dont mean Raila created the crisis, but I would find him so wise if he had a script with him. That’s a Leader. Miguna in his Peeling back the Mask said Raila told him good or bad, all publicity is good publicity. The ODM fiasco, as bad as it was, can still be turned into good publicity. Ababu group now control the meat positions of the party, so they will be blamed for any future chaos. By 2017, members will be demanding “Ababu must go”. The SG position is a rope that he has been handed. You see Raila without government affairs to run as PM has all the time in his hands to play his power games and even do rehearsals and simulations on a chessboard. Other than answering phone calls from top world leaders, his full time job is now to run a party.
