The man who tried to steal the Victoria Clipper ferry in Seattle has been given more than two years behind bars. Samuel McDonough managed to rip the ferry away from the dock in Elliot Bay on December 1st, but didnt know what to do after that. Court papers say he took the $8 million boat on a whim and as a birthday present to himself. McDonough also told police he was a pirate and planned to flee the country to Victoria.
