The medical profession is praiseworthy for healing and the insight we have all gained in understanding life. Public servants - firemen, policemen, the armed forces, etc. are laudable for the efforts they make to keep citizens safe. Many professions indeed have much to commend our admiration for various reasons. Yet how much more satisfying it is to finally make sense of heretofore hidden enigmas, to shine light in dark places, to explore the huge realm of possibilities? What value would life have, that other professions serve and protect, without the joy of learning something new and making it relatable to us personally? Thus teachers ultimately become some of the most important people in ones life, and teaching the noblest of professions.
