The meeting that Pastor Dewayne, Mary Joyce and I went to for CEF on Monday was awesome. We got to see how the classroom runs, and how we can reach the kids. There is a great need in Tucson’s schools for this club, and especially in TUSD. Pastor Dewayne and I were talking about an immediate need that The Good News club is having, and I would like to sit down with those who have time right after school, no more than once a week, to minister to these kids. If this is you, then please come to our first meeting for Morningside on Thursday 29th Jan 2015 so we can talk and start to put together the framework. Please, even if you are not sure IF you can teach, or if you do not know what days you can help still come! We NEED both teachers and mentors (helpers) for the club. What we will be doing to seeing what days most of us are available for, and see about having the club then if possible, but will not know this unless we get together so please, come on down at 6:30 pm next Thursday, or respond to this email and let me know that you are unavailable then, but want to be a part of this awesome plan God has for Morningside.
