The merger between AA and US Airways does not seem to be going - TopicsExpress

The merger between AA and US Airways does not seem to be going smoothly by my experience. I booked a flight at Expedia thru US Airways on a flight operated by AA. On trying to check in, it appears that the systems did not communicate, resulting in me being involuntarily bumped from the flight. US Airways got me on a flight arriving many hours later. With time on my hands, Im requesting compensation. Waiting forever at the Columbus airport for a supervisor, Im taking my chance to vent about it until I actually get to talk to someone. That the employees are deflecting blame is most certainly bot helping. While writing this, a supervisor named Matt (refused to share his last name) showed up. I was frustrated but not angry until I talked to this fellow. He was more interested in continuing to deflect blame than any concern for me. He would have done much better to sympathize with me and suggest a method to pursue my grievances. I wont resist adding in my personal situation. My young children and I are traveling to get away at the one year anniversary of my wifes death. This is a painful time at which I dont need extra stresses. I accept that errors happen. Your company has failed at every step after the mistake to address my concerns with compassion. Im taking every opportunity to voice the dysfunction in your organization.
