The mind divides. The heart unifies. We have created a society that honors the servant, and has forgotten the master! The mind is a powerful tool, like a knife chopping a pizza. However, there will never be more pizza. No matter how many pieces you chop the pizza into, the entire pizza comes from the Heart. Thus, the mind can analyze and deduct, form information into shapes and words! But you can never get more for less! The entire sum of said pizza comes directly from the Heart. This, to the Greeks, was known as Gnosis!--Heart-Knowing! In the west we have forgotten our hearts, and honored a tool that is lifeless without a center of knowing--just as we have become divorced from nature, and turned our trees into paper. When the last tree is chopped down, you cannot eat paper! And, so, there is no divide between mind-and-heart in an integrated being... Our divorce from nature has come with a divorce from God, our Source. The Material World is divided into opposites. And the greatest division is between Man and his God(s)! That is why religion and spirituality stand an ocean apart. Man seeks religion when he is divided from his true nature! The finger points at the moon, and the fool stares at the finger.
