The mission - to create a flat, neat hook-and-eye back for a corset. The hook-and-eye bases are completely hidden both inside and out, and have been reinforced through multiple layers to ensure they wont budge while as corset is worn. I chose not to use a flap to cover the hook parts themselves, as this corset will be primarily an undergarment - doing it this way means that it will always sit completely flat underneath the dress. (Quite a bit of hand-stitching left to go, but the visual effect is clear enough with just the pressing done on the hood-and-eye panels.)
